Methods of Payment & Terms of Business

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch credit/debit cards and BACS payments for all transactions.

Payments should be made to Dakar Cars Ltd

Our bank details are as follows:

All payment must be made in full before the vehicle can be taken away unless prior arrangement has been made with Dakar Cars Ltd.

Please note that our terms are strictly 30 days (unless prior arrangement has been made) and thereafter interest will be payable on any outstanding amount at the rate of 8% above Bank of England base rate at the time. 

Interest will be charged daily on all or any part of the outstanding invoice in accordance with The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. 

If for any reason we need to write to you for payment of our outstanding account there will be an administration charge of £25 per letter added to your invoice and if any cheque is sent back to us as non-payment there will be a charge of £20 each time this occurs.

Title and ownership of goods shall not pass to the purchaser until payment has been received in full (and all cheques cleared) and not upon collection or delivery. Notwithstanding this, goods will be at purchasers risk whilst in his possession until title passes.

Collection of Vehicles

If a vehicle is not collected, within 3 days after the work is completed or 3 days after an estimate for repair is given, the Company may charge its current storage charge of £15.00 per day from the date of completion of the repairs or until collection or disposal.

Returns

Goods correctly supplied will only be accepted for credit at the discretion of the management who reserve the right to impose a handling charge of up to 25%.

Any order(s) that have been placed which are specially ordered are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Surcharged items must be returned within 10 days to qualify for credit.

Goods for refund must be returned within 10 days from the invoice date.

Title remains the Vendors until payment is made in full.

Applications for Business Accounts are welcomed - please note that our terms are 30 days.

Our Personal Guarantee to You

If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with any work or parts and labour that has been carried out to your vehicle then please advise us by Email or in writing within 14 days of receipt of your invoice. Please ensure that you specify the exact nature of your grievance so that we may endeavour to rectify the situation to your satisfaction. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Delivery of Goods

Method of delivery can be tailored to meet your needs, from next day delivery to 48 hours/72 hours anywhere in the UK, Europe or United States. Delivery charges are not included in the cost of the products. All money for goods and postage will be need to be paid for before despatch.
